Joko Lelono's Journey
It is said that Joko Lelono's journey began with a misunderstanding with his father, Begawan Sidik Wacana. His father's words caused him to lose his sight. Accompanied by Ki Mertak and Ki Jebres, he rode an elephant to seek help. Begawan Sidik Waseso eventually restored his sight.
Light and the princess
On his way home, a light caught Joko Lelono's attention. He followed it until he reached the gate of the supernatural realm, where Dyah Ayu Putri Serang resided. Feeling he had found his soulmate, he stepped inside, leaving his two guards outside.
Elephant and dragon fight
While waiting, the two guards got supplies from Ki Makarang. They then heard the news of the fight between their elephant mount and the princess's dragon. Both animals perished. The guards then planted young coconuts around the heads of both of them.
